this iron is THE BEST iron i have EVER used! and i`ve gone through plenty including the chi. i have extremely long thick hispanic hair and it has a natural bettie page type of deep wave. i can use this iron from wavy and it gets it pin straight. my hair looks and feels like a silk curtain! it is so quick to straighten too. i use the setting on about 40 or 45 but that may be too hot for thinner hair types. i would definitely recommend this to anyone who has stubborn, frizzy, kinky, thick hair. it really works like a dream AND i constantly get compliments on how shiny it is! even my MALE coworkers noticed a difference. they were like ``hey your hair is really straight today`` or ``your hair looks reallly nice today.`` awesome! worth every penny!
Pros: high heat makes for quick work, non-tugging, leaves hair super shiny, erganomical, long swivel cord
Cons: plastic casing about plates gets too hot to touch so if you're used to holding the plates, you can't.
